Nirmana was set up by Amul Sarda and Emily Harbrecht with a simple belief: businesses succeed when they have the right people, the right processes and strong leaders to bring it all together.

Between us, we bring two sides of what makes a business work. Amul understands business, deals and relationships. Emily understands people, how they communicate, how they lead and how they grow. Together, we offer practical business support that never forgets the people doing the work.

Our story
Nirmana is run by husband and wife team Amul and Emily. Yes, we're married, and yes, we work together. And we make a beast of a team.

In our circles, we're known for shaping businesses around our kitchen table, usually over a nice lunch and with plenty of unfiltered brainstorming. Friends, clients and contacts have sat down with a problem and left with a plan. Nirmana is simply that kitchen table, opened up to more businesses.

Between us, we kept seeing the same challenges come up again and again. Talented people promoted without support. Businesses held back by the wrong team or unclear processes. Good companies missing out on bigger opportunities because they didn't have the right partner.

Most businesses end up calling one company for recruitment, another for consultancy and someone else again for coaching, and none of them talk to each other. We wanted to bring it all under one roof.

We're not a big faceless firm. When you work with Nirmana, you work with us. We pick up the phone, we're honest when something isn't working, and we move quickly when it matters. Amul brings the pace and the contacts, Emily brings the calm and the detail, and together we get results.

Amul Sarda
Amul is a born networker. Whether he's on the golf course, meandering through the heart of the City or chatting over a long lunch, he builds genuine relationships wherever he goes.

He's known for being restless, sociable and impatient, which is exactly what you want when time is tight and you need results.

Amul has an extensive and eclectic black book, built on decades of strong relationships with firms of all sizes. If you need the right person or the right partner, the chances are Amul knows them, or knows someone who does.

He has a particular interest in emerging talent, spotting and supporting the people who will lead in years to come. He also loves helping businesses bring projects in competitively, finding smart ways to deliver without cutting corners.

Emily Harbrecht
Emily is an Executive Coach and NLP Trainer with over 17 years' coaching and training experience. She supports professionals, managers and senior leaders through growth, transition and change. Clients often call Emily their 'Wendy' (Billions fans, you'll know). She prides herself on being discreet, direct and diligent.

When it comes to getting a project off the ground, Emily is relentless. She has been instrumental in getting countless businesses, projects and programmes out of the starting blocks, by unravelling what's in people's heads and turning it into a clear, measurable and effective plan. Leaving no stone unturned, she gets inside your head and helps you make it happen.

Alongside her coaching work, Emily has years of experience in recruitment compliance, so she knows first hand what it takes to put the right people in place and keep everything above board.

She qualified as an NLP Trainer in 2015, was named NLP Practitioner of the Year in 2012, and created a CPD accredited coach training programme that has trained more than 90 coaches worldwide. Her style is warm, practical and focused on results.

Why the name Nirmana?
Nirmāṇa is an ancient word meaning construction and creation. It sums up what we do: helping businesses build strong teams, better ways of working and partnerships that last.
